Irlon & Jailleen
A big, joyful October wedding on a caldera terrace — an arch of white roses and baby's breath, a long dinner table above the sea, fireworks and a saxophone until the early hours.
Irlon and Jailleen wanted one thing above all: everyone they love, in one place, looking at that view. So we built the day outwards from a single white arch — roses, hydrangea and clouds of baby's breath — set right on the edge of the terrace with the volcano behind it.
The aisle was lined in white, the chairs faced the sea, and by the time Jailleen reached the end of it there wasn't a dry eye in the row. Afterwards we stole them away for twenty minutes of portraits along the cliff, then brought a vintage convertible up to the rim for the last of the light.
Dinner was a single long table hugging the cliff edge, low white florals down its whole length. Fireworks went up over the terrace as they walked in, a saxophonist worked the floor, and the dancing didn't stop until the island had gone completely dark.
